CYGNUS IN CALI: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER WITH LÉPOKA AND JOSÉ ANDRËA "LA LEYENDA"

This past Saturday, February 22nd, CYGNUS had the honor of opening an epic show where they shared the stage with Lépoka (Spain) and José Andrëa "La Leyenda," former lead vocalist of the iconic Spanish band Mägo de Oz. The night marked a milestone for the band and the audience, leaving unforgettable moments that will resonate for a long time.

Although CYGNUS hails from Cali, many attendees were unaware of their local roots, making the warm reception from the audience even more special. From the very first chords, the crowd applauded and cheered for the band, with some fans (who already knew them) singing along, creating an unexpected and powerful connection.

With a performance filled with lights, screens, and vibrant interaction, CYGNUS kicked off their set with three songs: Odins Wolves, The One Eyed Wanderer, and their most recognized track, Valhalla. Although the organizers only allowed these three songs, the audience, captivated by the band’s energy and professionalism, began chanting, "ONE MORE, ONE MORE!"

Moved by the passion of the crowd and defying the imposed restrictions, CYGNUS decided to give the audience two more songs: SKÅL and Gästabud. The reaction was explosive. The audience went wild, enjoying every moment. Suddenly, one of the organizers, who was from Spain, threatened to cut the sound. Fortunately, CYGNUS's staff and the unstoppable energy of the audience prevented this dishonorable act by the infamous manager, further proving the band’s remarkable impact that night.

CYGNUS proudly represented Cali, showcasing a level of professionalism that stood shoulder-to-shoulder with international artists. It was a night where the band shone brightly, reaffirming their commitment to music and deeply connecting with the audience.
